Why Maksim Chmerkovskiy arrested
The former “Dancing With the Stars” pro informed fans on his Instagram Story Monday
He “made it on the train” out of Ukraine and arrived in Poland amid the Russians’ invasion of Kyiv.
“At one point, I got arrested,” Chmerkovskiy, 42, said in an Instagram video Monday.
“I’m a little nervous to be honest with you, but I think it’s going to be all right. Well, I know it’s going to be OK.”
Chmerkovskiy said the situation was “TRAUMATIZING” as he remained in a train cabin with “4 adults and 7 kids
Chmerkovskiy previously said he was not trying to leave the country because he heard it wasn’t safe
Chmerkovskiy was born in Ukraine in 1980 and moved to the US with his family in 1994.
