Richard Ayoade is the host of the BAFTA TV awards 2022

Comedian Richard Ayoade will be manning the BAFTA TV awards once again.

He has been hosting the ceremony since 2020.

The ceremony was previously hosted by Graham Norton in 2019.

At the time he said: “It has been almost 15 years since I first hosted the Television Awards and what a pleasure it is to be returning to host once again.

In her Bafta opening speech, she cracked jokes about gender inequality in television,

The BAFTA TV Awards 2022 will take place on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

The ceremony will be broadcast from BBC One at 6pm.

The big event is taking place at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
