One ticket wins the $473.1 million Powerball jackpot

Wednesday's drawing produced the third Powerball jackpot win of 2022.

The year's second-largest Powerball jackpot is off the board, with only one winning ticket to claim it.

A ticket sold in Arizona won the $473.1 million jackpot in Wednesday night's drawing, officials of the multistate lottery game said.

Spread in 30 graduated payments over 29 years or a lump sum payment of $283.3 million

The winning numbers were 11, 36, 61, 62 and 68, with a Powerball number of 4.

The year's largest -- a $632.6 million jackpot split by two tickets in California and Wisconsin in early January -- was also the seventh largest prize in Powerball history.

The year's other win was a $185.3 million jackpot hit on February 14.

Wednesday's jackpot win doesn't crack the game's all-time top 10,

Which starts at $564.1 million (February 2015) and is crowned by $1.586 billion (January 2016).
